Aircraft and helicopters regularly fly approximately 1,000ft above Ashcroft Aerodrome without any warning or any radio calls. In addition there is also occasional overflying air traffic routing to and from Liverpool Airport via the Whitegate NDB located just to the north west of Ashcroft. Please transmit your position and intentions on 122.52 MHz and be aware that with 4 runways there may be other pilots operating non-radio from a runway different to the one you have chosen.
